Biography
Livia Ribichini is a 25 years old Roman girl, she follows her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in the Scenography department. After completing the three-years degree she enrolled in the two-years course called Multimedia and Technological Visual Arts, of which six months have been spent in Netherlands to attend the Art & Technology minor. Her artistic research is oriented to the study of light and lighting, after having founded the Fulminate duo (lighting guerrilla) she creates with her colleague Alessandra numerous site-specific light installations in the Roman territory (RGB Light Fest, Via dei Cappellari, Inquerciata II, III, IV, Leggi Scomodo, Re-Visioni Festival). Interested in electronic music, physics and video, once she moved to Netherlands she began to unify these passions within the creative-performative process, after having participated in various '24h post-disciplinary' exhibitions and collaborative experiences in galleries of Groningen (SIGN, EM2). After the Dutch experience Livia begins to see the idea behind her research materialize: to make visible the invisible and the aesthetic concept of Euritmia (the movement that generates space).
